Sejarah
Namecheap didirikan oleh Richard Kirkendall pada tahun 2000. Pada bulan November 2010, mereka terpilih sebagai registrar nama domain terbaik dalam jajak pendapat yang di adakan oleh Lifehacker. Sekali lagi, pada bulan September 2012 mereka terpilih sebagai "Most Popular Domain Name Registrar" dalam jajak pendapat yang di adakan oleh Lifehacker.
