Neil Patrick Jordan (lahir 25 Februari 1950) adalah seorang pembuat film dan penulis Irlandia. Ia pertama kali mendapatkan pengakuan atas kumpulan cerita pendeknya, Night in Tunisia, yang memenangkan Guardian Fiction Prize pada tahun 1979.[1][2] Setelah bekerja sebentar di RTÉ, ia membuat debut penyutradaraannya dengan film tahun 1982 Angel.

Kehidupan awal

Jordan lahir di Kabupaten Sligo, sebagai putra dari Angela (née O'Brien), seorang pelukis, dan Michael Jordan, seorang profesor.[4] Ia dididik di St. Paul's College, Raheny. Kemudian, Jordan masuk University College Dublin, di mana ia mempelajari sejarah Irlandia dan sastra Inggris.
