Nella Bielski

Nella Bielski adalah seorang penulis dan aktris Prancis kelahiran Ukraina.

Bielski lahir di Ukraina, Uni Soviet pada 1930an. Ia belajar filsafat di Universitas Negeri Moskwa. Pada awal 1960an, ia bertemu seorang jurnalis Prancis, menikahinya dan berpindah dari Uni Soviet ke Prancis.

Bielski berakting dalam film-film. Pada 1970, novel pertamanya Voronej tampil dalam bahasa Prancis. Sejak itu, ia menulis sejumlah novel, selain juga menerjemahkannya ke dalam bahasa Inggris, termasuk Oranges for the Son of Alexander Levy dan The Year is '42.

Ia berkolaborasi pada sejumlah drama dengan salah satu penerjemah bahasa Inggris regulernya John Berger, termasuk A Question of Geography, yang ditampilkan oleh Royal Shakespeare Company.
