Netralitas gender

Netralitas gender (bentuk singkatan: gender-netral), juga disebut sebagai netralisme gender atau gerakan netralitas gender, mendeskripsikan gagasan bahwa kebijakan, bahasa dan lembaga sosial lainnya harus menghindari pembedaan peran menurut jenis kelamin atau gender seseorang, dalam rangka menghindari diskriminasi yang timbul dari penekanan bahwa terdapat peran-peran sosial untuk satu gender yang melebihi gender lainnya.

Dalam kebijakan

Proponen-proponen netralitas gender mendukung kebijakan publik yang dirancang untuk menyingkirkan pembedaan gender, seperti toilet umum uniseks, dengan kamar mandi umum yang tersedia tanpa membedakan gender orang yang memakainya.
