Network Centric Airborne Defense Element


Network Centric Airborne Defense Element (NCADE) adalah sistem rudal anti-balistik yang dikembangkan oleh Raytheon untuk Badan Pertahanan Rudal. Pada 18 September 2008 Raytheon mengumumkan telah diberikan kontrak $10 juta untuk melanjutkan penelitian dan pengembangan NCADE. Sistem NCADE adalah pencegat fase boost yang didasarkan pada AIM-120 AMRAAM, dengan hulu ledak fragmentasi AMRAAM digantikan oleh kendaraan hit-to-kill yang ditenagai oleh motor roket monopropelan hidroksilamonium nitrat dari Aerojet.[1][2][3]

Kendaraan peluncuran adalah Boeing F-15C Golden Eagle dengan radar AESA.[4]
