Neumünster adalah sebuah kota otonom (Kreisfreie Stadt) di Schleswig-Holstein, Jerman. Catatan bersejarah pertama tentang desa pendahulunya "Wippendorf" berasal dari tahun 1127.
Di Ehndorf dekat Neumünster, terdapat fasilitas pemancar gelombang medium untuk menyiarkan program "Deutschlandfunk", pemancar Ehndorf yang sering orang salah sebut sebagai "pemancar Neumünster".
