Nicholas Murray Butler (2 April 1862 – 7 Desember 1947) adalah seorang filsuf, diplomat, dan dosen Amerika Serikat. Butler menjabat sebagai Presiden Universitas Columbia, Presiden Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, dan menerima Penghargaan Nobel Perdamaian. Ia menjadi terkenal dan The New York Times mencetak ucapan selamat Natal-nya kepada Amerika Serikat setiap tahun.
