Nicolas Trigault

Nicolas Trigault (1577–1628) adalah seorang Yesuit Flemish, dan seorang misionaris di China. Ia juga dikenal dengan nama latin-nya yakni Trigautius atau Trigaultius, dan nama Mandarin-nya Jin Nige (Hanzi sederhana: 金尼阁; Hanzi tradisional: 金尼閣; Pinyin: Jīn Nígé).

Kehidupan dan karya

Lahir di Douai (waktu itu bagian dari Belanda Spanyol, sekarang bagian dari Prancis), ia menjadi seorang Yesuit pada 1594. Trigault meninggalkan Eropa untuk melaksanakan karya misionaris di Asia sekitar 1610
