Nomina verbal

Secara harfiah, ahli tata bahasa menggambarkan nomina verbal atau nomina gerundial[butuh rujukan] sebagai bentuk kata kerja yang berperan sebagai kata benda.[1]

Istilah kata benda verbal dapat mengacu pada:

  • bentuk pengutipan dari verba seperti masdar dalam bahasa Arab dan nomina verbal (berfenw) dalam bahasa Wales[2]
  • bentuk verba yang dapat mengalami deklinasi dalam bahasa Mongolia yang bisa berperan sebagai predikat, sepadan dengan partisip namun dengan cakupan penggunaan sintaksis yang lebih luas[3]
