Oberlin adalah sebuah kota di Kabupaten Lorain, Ohio, Amerika Serikat, barat daya Cleveland. Oberlin adalah tempat dari Kolese Oberlin, sebuah kolese seni liberal dan konservatorium musik dengan sekitar 3,000 murid.
Kota tersebut adalah tempat kelahiran dari Liga Anti-Salon dan paten Proses Pengurangan Aluminium dari Garam-Garam Fluorida-nya oleh Elektrolisis (pada 1899) yang membuat Aluminium untuk penggunaan industri.[6]
Jumlah penduduknya sebesar 8,286 menurut sensus 2010.
Sejarah
Oberlin didirikan pada 1833 oleh dua pendeta Presbiterian, John Jay Shipherd dan Philo P. Stewart.
