Odometer
Odometer adalah sebuah alat sebagai penunjuk Jarak Tempuh Kendaraan. Prinsipnya adalah dengan menghitung banyaknya putaran roda dikalikan dengan keliling roda. Odometer digunakan juga untuk mengetahui kapan waktunya mengganti oli. Cara bekerjanya secara mekanik atau elektronik. Apabila speedometer dalam satuan Km/jam , maka angka odometer yang ditunjukkan berupa jarak dalam satuan kilometer/Km.
Biasanya odometer sering dikaitkan untuk menentukan kendaraan tersebut jarang digunakan atau sering digunakan pada saat kita akan membeli sebuah mobil ataupun motor bekas.
Selain Odometer, biasanya dilengkapi juga dengan Tripmeter. Perbedaannya adalah, Tripmeter bisa di Reset menjadi 0 (nol). Hal ini berguna untuk mengukur jarak tempuh dari lokasi A ke lokasi B.
