Sejarah

ONS dibentuk pada 1 April 1996 hasil penggabungan dari Central Statistical Office dan Office of Population Censuses and Surveys (OPCS).[1] Lanjutan dari Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007, UK Statistics Authority menjadi departemen non-kementerian pada 1 April 2008.[2]
