Oikonomos

Oikonomos (bahasa Yunani: аἰκονόμος, dari oiko- "rumah" dan -nomos "peraturan, hukum"), dilatinkan menjadi oeconomus atau onomcus, adalah kata Yunani Kuno yang berarti "manajer rumah tangga". Di zaman Kekaisaran Bizantium, istilah Oikonomos digunakan sebagai gelar manajer atau bendahara dalam suatu organisasi.

Oikonomos juga digunakan sebagai gelar dalam hierarki Gereja Katolik Roma.[1] Dalam Kitab Hukum Kanonik 1983, seorang oeconomus adalah petugas keuangan keuskupan (sekitar tahun 494).
