Omphalosaurus (dari akar kata bahasa Yunani untuk "kadal tombol", karena gigi mereka yang mirip tombol) adalah sebuah genusreptil lautpunah dari periode Trias Awal sampai Tengah,[1] yang dianggap berada didalam ordo Ichthyosauria. Kebanyakan dari apa yang para ahli ketahui mengenai genus ini berasal dari beberapa fragmen rahang, rusuk dan vertebra. Spesimen-spesimen Omphalosaurus telah dideskripsikan dari Amerika Serikat barat, Polandia, Austria, dan pulau Spitsbergen di lepas pesisir utara Norwegia.
