On Bullshit
Frankfurt awalya menerbitkan esai "On Bullshit" di jurnal Raritan Quarterly Review tahun 1986. Buku ini bertahan selaam 27 pekan di The New York Times Best Seller List,[2] dan dibahas di acara televisi The Daily Show With Jon Stewart[3] serta wawancara bersama perwakilan penerbitnya, Princeton University Press.[4][5] On Bullshit (2005) menjadi dasar buku sekuelnya, On Truth (2006).
