Operasi Jayawijaya

Operation Jayawijaya adalah sebuah operasi yang direncanakan oleh TNI Angkatan Laut di mana merupakan operasi amfibi terbesar dalam sejarah operasi militer Indonesia. Tidak kurang dari 100 kapal perang dan 16.000 prajurit disiapkan dalam operasi tersebut. Latar belakang rencana operasi ini adalah karena Belanda tidak mau menyerahkan Irian Barat kepada Indonesia, sehingga terjadi konflik yang merujuk kepada rencana operasi ini. Namun, operasi ini tidak dilakukan karena tercapainya persetujuan New York.
