Operasi Koboi terjadi di desa Hostau (sekarang Hostouň di Ceko), pada tanggal 28 April 1945, pada hari-hari terakhir Teater Eropa Perang Dunia II. Ini adalah salah satu dari dua kali yang diketahui selama perang waktu orang Amerika dan Jerman dari Wehrmacht berperang berdampingan melawan Waffen-SS, yang lainnya adalah Pertempuran Kastel Itter.

Latar Belakang

Sebab terjadinya operasi ini karena Alois Podhajsky, yang merupakan Major Wehrmacht dan Kepala sekolah berkuda spanyol, meminta bantuan Jenderal George S. Patton untuk misi penyelamatan kuda Lipizzaner di Hostau, Ceko.
