Oriks afrika timur (Oryx beisa) adalah sebuah spesies antelop dari Afrika Timur. Ini memiliki dua subspesies: beisa oryx (Oryx beisa beisa) yang umum ditemukan di padang rumput dan semidesert di seluruh Tanduk Afrika dan utara Sungai Tana, dan oryx (Oryx beisa callotis) bertepi pinggiran di selatan Sungai Tana di Kenya selatan dan bagian dari Tanzania.

Di masa lalu, beberapa ahli taksonomi menganggapnya sebagai subspesies dari gemsbok (Oryx gazella), tetapi mereka secara genetik berbeda; jumlah kromosom diploid adalah 56 untuk beisa dan 58 untuk gemsbok.[4] Spesies ini terdaftar sebagai Terancam Punah oleh IUCN.
