Palapa N1

Satelilt Palapa N1 (Satelit Nusantara 2) merupakan satelit yang dimiliki oleh PT Palapa Satelit Nusa Sejahtera yang merupakan perusahaan patungan antara Indosat, PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) dan PT Pintar Nusantara Sejahtera (Pintar).[1] Satelit ini dimaksudkan untuk menggantikan Satelit Palapa D yang habis masa penggunaannya[2] di mana satelit ini akan menempati slot orbit 113 derajat Bujur Timur.[3] Satelit ini diproduksi oleh China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) dengan nilai dari satelit mencapai US$ 220 juta.[4]

Satelit ini diluncurkan pada 9 April 2020 menggunakan roket Long March-3B dari Satellite Lauch Center (XLCS) di Xichang, Republik Rakyat Tiongkok pada pukul 19:46 waktu setempat[1] tetapi roket tersebut gagal mencapai orbit setelah terjadi anomali ketika memasuki tahap pelepasan roket fase ketiga.[1]
