Pays de la Loire (pengucapan bahasa Prancis: [pe.i də la lwaʁ]; bahasa Breton: Broioù al Liger) adalah salah satu di antara 18 wilayah di Prancis yang didirikan pada dasawarsa 1950-an. Wilayah ini dijuluki sebagai "balancing metropolises" (métropoles d'équilibre)¹.
Geografi
Pays de la Loire terbentuk dari provinsi-provinsi bersejarah berikut ini:
- Bagian dari Brittany, yang dahulu beribu kota di Nantes, terdiri dari departemen Loire-Atlantique. Sejarah wilayah ini hanya dipengaruhi 20% oleh Britania. 80% sejarah Britania lainnya berpengaruh kepada wilayah administrasi Britania.
