Peltephilus, atau armadillo bertanduk, adalah genus mamalia xenarthra yang merupakan sejenis armadillo punah yang mendiami Argentina selama kala Oligosen, dan punah pada kala Miosen. Skat di kepalanya sangat berkembang, sehingga membentuk tanduk. Selain Ceratogaulus dari Amerika Utara, genus ini menjadi satu-satunya mamalia fosorial bertanduk yang diketahui.[1]

P. ferox memiliki tengkorak sepanjang 11,7 sentimeter (4,6 in),[2] sementara massa tubuhnya diperkirakan sekitar 11,07 kilogram (24,4 pon).[3]
