Pemusing

Alat pembuat jus, salah satu contoh pemusing.

Pemusing atau pengempar adalah suatu peranti, umumnya digerakkan dengan motorik listrik (beberapa model kuno digerakkan dengan tangan), yang membuat suatu objek berputar pada sumbu tetap, membuat gaya bergerak tegak lurus menurut sumbu tersebut. Pemusing berfungsi menggunakan prinsip pengendapan, di mana percepatan memusat menyebabkan zat yang lebih padat terpisah sepanjang arah radial. Dengan cara yang sama, benda yang lebih ringan akan berpindah ke atas.
