Shin Dong-geun (Hangul: 신동근; lahir 10 Maret 1993) adalah penyanyi dan rapper Korea-Amerika yang berbasis di Korea Selatan. Peniel memiliki nama asli yaitu Shin Dong-geun. Peniel besar di Illinois, Chicago, Amerika Serikat. Ia memulai debutnya sebagai anggota grup vokal pria Korea Selatan, BTOB pada tahun 2012 sebagai rapper.
Biografi
Peniel lahir dan besar di Illinois, Chicago, Amerika Serikat. Peniel bersekolah di Barbara B. Rose Elementary School, kemudian ia melanjutkan pendidikan tingkat menengah di Barrington Middle School Prairie Campus. Setelah memutuskan untuk tinggal di Korea Selatan, ia melanjutkan pendidikannya di Chungdam High School. Peniel sempat melakukan pendidikan di Universitas Hanyang.
Wajib Militer
Peniel mendapatkan pengecualian wajib militer karena berkewarganegaraan Amerika Serikat.
