Peragen

Peragen (dr bahasa Jawa) adalah ruang di rumah tangga abad pertengahan atau Renaisans [1] yang bertanggung jawab atas rempah-rempah, serta ruangan tempat rempah-rempah disimpan. Itu dipimpin oleh seorang juru peragen. Ruang atau kantor tersebut berada di bawah dapur atau lemari pakaian, dan hanya ada sebagai kantor terpisah di rumah tangga yang lebih besar. Itu berhubungan erat dengan kantor dapur lainnya, seperti gudang dan dapur. [2] Istilah ini sebagian besar sudah ketinggalan zaman saat ini, dan jika digunakan lebih sering hanya untuk merujuk pada rak bumbu dapur. [3]
