Peter Fibiger Bang (lahir 25 Juni 1973) adalah seorang sejarawan perbandingan Denmark.[1] Peminatan riset utama Bang adalah sejarah ekonomi Romawi, dan kekuasaan kekaisaran, sosiologi sejarah dan sejarah dunia, serta penyajian budaya klasik pada masa-masa berikutnya.
Kehidupan
Lahir di Horsens, Denmark, pada 1973, Bang belajar Sejarah, Latin dan bahasa Yunani di Universitas Aarhus dari 1992 sampai 1999. Pada 1997, ia menjadi kunjungan di Universitas Leicester, di mana ia belajar Arkeologi Romawi. Pada 1999, ia pindah ke Corpus Christi College, Universitas Cambridge, untuk meraih gelar PhD dalam bidang Klasik. Pada musim gugur 2001, ia menjadi kunjungan di Universitas Chicago.
