Peter Heywood (6 Juni 1772 – 10 Februari 1831) adalah seorang perwira angkatan laut Inggris yang bertugas di HMS Bounty
ketika terjadi peristiwa dahagi pada 28 April 1789. Ia kemudian ditangkap di Tahiti, diadili dan dijatuhi hukuman mati, tetapi kemudian dibebaskan. Ia meneruskan karier angkatan lautnya dan kemudian pensiun dengan pangkat post-captain, setelah 29 tahun bertugas.
