Phidippus adonis adalah spesies laba-laba yang tergolong dalam famili Salticidae (laba-laba pelompat) dan merupakan famili laba-laba terbesar dengan lebih dari 5.000 species yang dideskripsikan.[1] Spesies ini juga merupakan bagian dari genus Phidippus dan ordo Araneae. Nama ilmiah dari spesies ini pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 2004 oleh Edwards.[2]
Deskripsi
Phidippus adonis adalah laba-laba pelompat yang dikenal dengan kemampuan penglihatan tajam dan gerakan lompatan khasnya.[2]
Habitat
Laba-laba ini biasanya banyak ditemui di Meksiko. Umumnya ditemukan pada lingkungan yang memiliki vegetasi padat seperti semak, dedaunan, atau cabang tanaman rendah.[2]
