Philipp Ludwig Statius Müller

Philipp Ludwig Statius Müller (25 April 1725 – 5 Januari 1776) adalah seorang ahli hewan berkebangsaan Jerman yang dilahirkan pada tanggal 25 April 1725 di kota Esens, Jerman.

Statius Müller menjabat sebagai profesor ilmu hayati di Erlangen. Antara tahun 1773 dan 1776 ia menerbitkan terjemahan buku Natursystem karangan Carolus Linnaeus dalam edisi bahasa Jerman. Dalam buku ini terdapat klasifikasi ilmiah baru dari beberapa spesies, seperti Dugong dugon, Lama guanicoe, Perodicticus potto dan Egretta tricolor.

Statius Müller meninggal pada tanggal 5 Januari 1776 di kota Erlangen, Jerman.
