Serak (Phodilus) adalah sebuah genus burung hantu Dunia Lama dalam famili Tytonidae. Cirinya yang membedakan adalah tubuh mereka yang kecil bila disandingkan dengan serak dalam Tyto pada famili yang sama, dan muka mereka yang berbentuk huruf U atau V. Burung-burung ini ditemukan di sepanjang Asia selatan dari India selatan dan Sri Lanka hingga Indonesia pada ekosistem hutan dan lahan rumput.[1]
