Pinacosaurus ("kadal papan") adalah sebuah genus dinosaurus ankylosauria dari periode Kapur Akhir, dari wilayah yang sekarang menjadi Mongolia dan Tiongkok. Dinosaurus ini hidup 80 sampai 75 juta tahun lalu, dan pertamakali ditemukan pada 1923.[1]

Genus ini memiliki dua sampai lima lubang tambahan di dekat masing-masing lubang hidungnya, yang fungsinya masih belum diketahui.

Hewan ini merupakan genus ankylosauria berukuran sedang, dengan panjang sekitar 5 meter, dan berat 2 ton. Tubuhnya datar dan terposisikan rendah.

Kepalanya dilindungi dengan "papan" lempengan tulang, yang menjadi alasan namanya. Leher, punggung dan ekornya dilindungi oleh osteoderm. Hewan ini juga secara aktif dengan godam ekornya.[2]
