Popular Prakashan adalah sebuah penerbit dan penjual buku independen berasal dari India yang didirikan di Bombay pada tahun 1924.

Sejarah

Pada 1924, pendiri Ganesh R. Bhatkal, seorang mantan karyawan Oxford University Press India, mendirikan Popular Book Depot sebagai sebuah penjual buku independen. Pada tahun 1962, penggantinya Sadanand dan Ramdas G. Bhatkal membentuk Popular Prakashan Pvt. Ltd. sebagai sebuah perusahaan penerbitan.[1]
