Presentasi cephalic

Presentasi cephalic adalah cara medis untuk mengetahui kondisi bayi berada di posisi terbawah dan kaki di atas dengan kepala di bawah dekat jalan lahir.[1]

Jenis

Ada dua macam posisi cephalic : [1]

  • Presentasi oksiput sefalik anterior adalah kondisi di mana bayi berada dalam posisi kepala di bawah dan menghadap ke belakang. Hampir 95 persen bayi berada dalam posisi kepala terlebih dahulu ini. Posisi ini juga dianggap sebagai posisi paling optimal untuk persalinan.
  • Oksiput posterior cephalic kondisi bayi yang menunduk dengan wajah menghadap ke perut. Hal ini dapat membuat persalinan menjadi sedikit lebih sulit karena kepala menjadi lebih lebar dan lebih besar kemungkinannya untuk tersangkut. Hanya sekitar 5 persen bayi cephalic yang menghadapi hal ini. Posisi ini terkadang disebut “sunny side up baby”.
