Program Zond

Zond (Зонд, Rusia: "probe") adalah sebuah nama yang diberikan untuk dua seri yang berbeda dari program luar angkasa berawak Soviet yang dilakukan 1964-1970. Seri pertama berdasarkan penyelidikan planet 3mV dimaksudkan untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang planet di dekatnya. Seri kedua dari tes pesawat ruang angkasa menjadi prekursor untuk penerbangan berawak lingkaran circumlunar menggunakan varian stripped-down dari pesawat ruang angkasa Soyuz, yang terdiri dari layanan dan keturunan modul, tetapi kurang pada modul orbital.
