Deskripsi
Luas wilayahnya sekitar 95 hektare (230 ekar) dan terdapat pemukiman terbesar di wilayah tersebut yaitu Bantam, dengan populasi sekitar 500 Orang Cocos Melayu. Daya tarik lokalnya meliputi museum yang mencakup budaya dan tradisi lokal, flora dan fauna, sejarah angkatan laut Australia, dan pemilik awal Kepulauan Cocos-Keeling.[1]
Masjid Pulau Home adalah salah satu tempat tersibuk di pulau ini dengan menara masjid yang dicat dengan warna bendera teritorial yaitu hijau dan emas.[2][3]
Ada juga jalan setapak menuju Oceania House, yang merupakan rumah leluhur keluarga Clunies-Ross, mantan penguasa Kepulauan Cocos-Keeling dan berusia lebih dari satu abad.[4]
