Pulau Laysan
Laysan (Bahasa Hawaii: Kauō, terletak 808 mil laut sebelah barat laut Honolulu pada N25° 42' 14" W171° 44' 04". Pulau itu memiliki luas (4.11 km2), (1.6 X 2.4 km). Pulau tersebut menyerupai atol, meskipun terdapat danau dangkal di tengah pulau sekitar 2,4 meter di atas permukaan laut, yang memiliki salinitas sekitar tiga kali lebih besar dari laut. Dalam bahasa Hawaii, Lysan disebut Kauō yang berarti telur.
