Queen of Katwe adalah sebuah film Amerika Serikat yang dirilis pada tahun 2016, disutradarai oleh Mira Nair dan ditulis oleh William Wheeler. Pemainnya antara lain adalah David Oyelowo, Lupita Nyong'o, dan Madina Nalwanga, film ini menggambarkan kehidupan Phiona Mutesi, seorang gadis yang tinggal di Katwe, daerah kumuh Kampala, ibu kota Uganda. Dia belajar bermain catur dan menjadi Calon Master Wanita setelah kemenangannya di Olimpiade Catur Dunia.[4]

Diadaptasi dari artikel dan buku majalah ESPN oleh Tim Crothers, film ini diproduksi oleh Walt Disney Pictures dan ESPN Films. Queen of Katwe diputar di Festival Film Internasional Toronto 2016.
