QuickBird

QuickBird adalah satelit observasi bumi komersial resolusi tinggi, yang dimiliki oleh DigitalGlobe dan diluncurkan pada tahun 2001 sebagai satelit pertama dalam konstelasi tiga dijadwalkan berada di orbit oleh 2008. QuickBird menggunakan global Imaging System Ball Aerospace ini 2000 (BGIS 2000) yang mengumpulkan resolusi citra komersial tertinggi keempat Bumi setelah WorldView-1, WorldView-2 dan GeoEye-1 dan menawarkan ukuran gambar terbesar dan kapasitas penyimpanan terbesar on-board satelit apapun. Satelit mengumpulkan pankromatik (hitam dan putih) citra pada 61 resolusi sentimeter dan citra multispektral pada resolusi 2.44- (450 km) 1,63 meter (di 300 km), sebagai ketinggian orbit diturunkan selama akhir kehidupan misi.
