RISAT-1

Radar Imaging Satellite 1 (RISAT-1), adalah satelit penginderaan jauh India yang dibangun dan dioperasikan oleh Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Satelit Risat kedua yang diluncurkan, menggunakan Synthetic Aperture Radar C-band 5.35 GHz untuk observasi bumi terlepas dari kondisi cahaya dan cuaca dari daerah yang sedang dicitrakan.

Peluncuran-Risat 1 datang beberapa tahun setelah itu dari Risat-2, yang membawa sebuah radar x-band Israel. Risat-2 diprioritaskan over-Risat 1 setelah serangan Mumbai 2008, sehingga Risat 1 tertunda beberapa tahun.
