Radha Rani Amber Indigo Ananda Mitchell (lahir 12 November 1973) merupakan seorang aktris Australia. Ia memulai kariernya di serial televisi dan film Australia. Kemudian, ia berkarier di beberapa film Hollywood, seperti High Art, Pitch Black, Phone Booth, Finding Neverland, Man on Fire, Melinda and Melinda, Silent Hill dan The Crazies.

Latar belakang

Radha Mitchell lahir di Melbourne. Ibunya merupakan seorang model sekaligus perancang busana dan ayahnya merupakan seorang pembuat film. Orang tuanya bercerai ketika ia masih muda.[1][2] Nama pertamanya, Radha (Bahasa Sanskerta राधा ), berasal dari Hindu. Beberapa bagian dari namanya yang berasal dari India antara lain Rani (रानी berarti ratu) dan Ananda (आनन्द berarti bahagia). Ia menjadikan namanya sebagai 'nama yang kreatif' berdasarkan pengalaman ibunya yang menjelajahi India secara spiritual pada tahun 1970-an.[3] Ia melanjutkan pendidikannya di St Michael's Grammar School di St Kilda dan lulus pada tahun 1992.
