Rasht atau biasanya dipanggil Resht merupakan ibu kota provinsi Gilan di barat laut Iran. Rasht merupakan pusat utama bagi para wisatawan. Kota ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sebanyak 560.123 jiwa (2005).

Selama sejarah Iran, Rasht tetap menjadi kota perbatasan dan salah satu julukan historisnya adalah "dār al-marz" (Tanah Perbatasan).[1][2]
