Ronnie James Dio (lahir Ronaldo Giovanni Padovan pada 10 Juli 1942 di Portsmouth, New Hampshire – 16 Mei 2010), adalah seorang penyanyi heavy metal yang dikenal sebagai anggota Black Sabbath, Rainbow, dan Dio. Selain itu, Dio juga dikenal sebagai Godfather of Metal selain Ozzy Osbourne. Dio meninggal pada tanggal 16 Mei 2010 disebabkan menderita kanker perut.
Nama belakangnya diambil dari anggota mafia Johnny Dio, dan mulai ia gunakan di awal 1960-an dalam band Ronnie Dio and the Prophets. Ia mulai bergabung dengan Black Sabbath dalam album Heaven and Hell.
