Ruta Sepetys (dikenla juga dengan nama Rūta Šepetys; lahir 19 November 1967) adalah seorang penulis fiksi sejarah berdarah Lithuania-Amerika. Sebagai seorang penulis, dia mendapatkan penghargaan pemenang Medali Carnegie dan buku-bukunya meraih label Internasional Best Seller.
Dia adalah Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Fellow dan penulis sastra dewasa muda Amerika pertama yang berbicara di Parlemen Eropa[1] dan NATO. Karyanya telah diterbitkan di lebih dari enam puluh negara dan empat puluh bahasa dan saat ini sedang dalam pengembangan untuk film dan televisi.
