SMA Negeri Modal Bangsa Aceh merupakan sebuah Sekolah Menengah Atas SMA negeri unggul dan berasrama di Aceh yang beralamat di Jln Bandara Sultan Iskandar Muda Km. 12,5, Desa Cot Geundreut, Kecamatan Blang Bintang, Kabupaten Aceh Besar Provinsi Aceh.[1]
Sejarah
Didirikan pada tahun 1994 di bawah naungan pemerintah daerah dengan kanwil Depdikbud (Dinas provinsi NAD). Sejak peresmiannya hingga bulan juli 1997 kegiatan belajar mengajar dilaksanakan di lampeuneurut. Baru tahun 1997-1998 (angkatan 4) di relokasikan ke kampus baru di Meulayo, Kutabaro, yaitu tepatnya di atas perbukitan kecil nan asri yang berada sekitar 12,5 KM dari kota Banda Aceh. Di lahan seluas 7 ha para kader bangsa ditempah dan dibina untuk menjadi calon pemimpin bangsa di masa depan.[2]
