SMPN 16 Batam, merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri yang ada di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, yang beralamat di Jl. Letjend. S. Parman - Sei Beduk - Batam. Sama dengan SMP pada umumnya di Indonesia masa pendidikan sekolah di SMPN 16 Batam ditempuh dalam waktu tiga tahun pelajaran, mulai dari Kelas VII sampai Kelas IX.
