SMP Negeri (SMPN) 1 Tualang adalah sekolah menengah pertama negeri yang terletak di Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara Km.7, Desa Perawang Barat, Kecamatan Tualang, Kabupaten Siak, Provinsi Riau. SMP Negeri 1 Tualang berdiri dan ditetapkan Kemendikbud pada tanggal 15 Juni 1998. Kepala sekolah sekarang adalah Ibu Nurjamliah. Sama dengan SMP pada umumnya di Indonesia masa pendidikan sekolah di SMPN 1 Tualang ditempuh dalam waktu tiga tahun pelajaran, mulai dari Kelas VII sampai Kelas IX.[3]

Dengan luas 20.200 m2, SMPN 1 Tualang memiliki berbagai macam fasilitas dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Seperti yang ada pada berikut ini:[3]
