SMP Negeri 2 Lumajang merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Lumajang. SMP Negeri 2 Lumajang diresmikan pada hari Minggu, tanggal 1 April 1979. Sekolah ini beralamat di Jalan Jend. Ahmad Yani No. 49, Kelurahan Kepuharjo, Kecamatan Lumajang, Kabupaten Lumajang.
Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler
Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di SMP Negeri 2 Lumajang ini antara lain: Pramuka Gugus Depan "Budi Oetomo" 07123 - 07124, Pencak Organisasi / PO, Seni Tari, Taekwondo, Drum Band "Irama Mahardika", Olahraga, seperti Bola Basket, Musik.
