Sabef (s3b.f) merupakan seorang pejabat Mesir Kuno di bawah Raja Qa'a selama Dinasti Pertama, pada sekitar tahun 2900 SM.

Sabef dikenal dari sebuah prasasti [1] yang ditemukan di samping makam raja Abydos.

Prasasti itu sekarang terletak di Museum Mesir, Kairo terbuat dari gamping dan ditulis dengan daftar gelar yang panjang. Namun pembacaan dan terjemahan gelar-gelarnya sangat bermasalah, mengingat prasasti hieroglif paling awal masih sulit untuk diterjemahkan. Di prasasti, Sabef berdiri dan melihat ke sebelah kanan dengan tongkat di satu tangan dan satu tongkat di tangannya yang lain. Gelar-gelarnya termasuk:

  • Direktur ruang makan dan gudang anggur milik semua perlindungan di belakang (nya)[2]
  • Direktur domain: tempat duduk Horus dengan tombak dan rumah merah[3]
  • Sahabat domain raja[4]
  • [Yang] bertanggung jawab atas setiap kursi yang dipesan di lorong[5]
