Salmas (bahasa Persia: سلماس; bahasa Armenia: Սալմաստ; bahasa Azerbaijan: سلماس ; bahasa Kurdi: سەڵماس; bahasa Suryani: ܣܵܠܵܡܵܣ [2]) adalah ibu kota Shahrestan Salmas, Provinsi Azerbaijan Barat di Iran. Kota ini Terletak di barat laut Danau Urmia, dekat Turki.[3] Menurut sensus tahun 2019, populasi kota ini adalah 127.864 penduduk.[4] Mayoritas penduduk terdiri dari bangsa Azerbaijan dan Kurdi.[5]
