Samora Moisés Machel (29 September 1933 – 19 Oktober 1986) adalah seorang komandan militer Mozambik, pemimpin revolusioner sosialisme, dan Presiden Mozambik 1975-1986.
Pada tanggal 19 Oktober 1986, Presiden Samora Machel tewas terbunuh bersama 24 penumpang lainnya saat pesawat Tupolev Tu-134A-3 yang dinaiki mengalami kecelakaan di Afrika Selatan.[1]
