PT Samsung Group Indonesia (PT SGIN) berbasis di Jakarta, adalah anak perusahaan konglomerat Korea Selatan, Samsung Group yang didirikan pada tanggal 4 Agustus 1986 sebagai korporat dan 14 Agustus tahun sama sebagai hari lahir dan jadi secara resmi setelah 10 hari sebelum 5 tahun tanggal sama 1991 mendirikan pabrik pertama yang bernama PT Samsung Electronics Indonesia (PT SEIN) dipakai sejak 26 Agustus 1997 sampai sekarang, sebelumnya bernama PT Samsung Technologies Indonesia (PT STIN) sejak 4 Agustus 1986 sampai 14 Agustus 1991 dan PT Samsung Metrodata Indonesia (PT SMIN) 14 Agustus 1991 sampai 26 Agustus 1997 setelah bekerjasama Samsung Group dan Metrodata Electronics setelah 5 tahun lalu.
